Bergamot, cardamom, organic black pepper and saffron strike first - sharp, dry, a little severe - before upcycled rose petals open with clove, geranium and davana behind them. A rose with grit under its fingernails. Patchouli, Siamese benzoin, myrrh and Virginia cedar hold the base steady and faintly powdery.
