Oriento looks east. Saffron, styrax and lemon open with that bright, faintly medicinal lift saffron always gives, before rose, apple and ylang-ylang build a heart that is opulent without tipping into heaviness. Patchouli, white musk and sandalwood hold the base — the house musk signature doing its usual work of softening everything above it. A Middle Eastern structure filtered through French restraint, which is a more interesting proposition than either tradition on its own. Composed by Vanina Muracciole in 2015 as part of Jeroboam's founding collection. An extrait de parfum at 100ml, excellent for evenings and cooler months. At Seinde Signature.
