LIGNO 100ML

Ligno means wood, and this is patchouli given the entire stage. It appears three times — in the opening alongside pine, clary sage, bergamot and geranium; again in the heart as Indonesian patchouli leaf beside castoreum, saffron and orris; and once more in the base with ambergris, musk, ambroxan and labdanum. The castoreum gives it a leathery, animal edge that stops the woods from ever becoming polite. Dark, earthy and genuinely uncompromising — the most serious composition in the range.
