What do the concentrations mean?

Not all perfumes are made with the same strength. Concentration tells you how much of the bottle is aromatic oil rather than alcohol, and it is the single most useful thing on any label.

• Parfum or extrait de parfum, 20 to 40% oil. The highest concentration. Rich and long-lasting.
• Eau de parfum, 15 to 20%. Richer and more concentrated.
